Director Biography - Austin Birtch

Toronto based filmmaker, Austin Birtch is a Writer, Director, and Producer. Austin’s career began as a Production Coordinator of Viceland’s Nirvanna the Band the Show, eventually working through various other larger productions, becoming the Unit Production Manager for the horror comedy film, Psycho Goreman. In addition to his experience on the production side, Austin has worked as First Assistant Director of such shows as Tales from the Territories, Miss Persona, and Late Night in the Studio. He continues to work as an Assistant Director, and Associate Producer whilst juggling his own personal projects.
