The 2026 Bay of Blood International Film Festival took place from July 24 - 26 at the White Water Gallery in downtown North Bay. This year, we screened 71 shorts and 7 features from around the world. For full details, check out our schedule.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
The Bay of Blood International Film Festival accepts submissions for each year’s festival through FilmFreeway. We will soon be accepting submissions for our 2027 festival.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA:
Films must fall within the horror genre.
Multiple films may be submitted from a single filmmaker or production company.
We encourage international submissions, but they must contain English subtitles if not in English.
Films must have been completed within the past 2 years (i.e. after January 1, 2025).
